Curve
Perfume For Men
This fragrance is produced by Liz Claiborne and I
am one of the fortunate few to try it out when it came into the
market for the first time.
I can tell you how delighted I am with curve perfume for
men. This fragrance is produced by Liz Claiborne and I am one
of the fortunate few to try it out when it came into the market
for the first time.
This cologne is of high quality and has a wonderful
fragrance. It is not priced too high and is thus quite
affordable. I have a collection of perfumes for men and Curve
is one of my favorite fragrances.
In fact, I use up a bottle of Curve each year. Imagine my
surprise and delight when I bought my bottle of Curve spray, in
early February, just before Valentine’s day, the 4.2 oz bottle
was not only on sale, it came with a Valentine’s Day gift
set!
How could anyone resist buying it? Curve for men has nine
fragrances: bergamot, clove, lavender, vetiver, musk, lime,
citrus, sandalwood and cedar. All are very masculine scents,
you would agree.
Such a wonderful combination of fragrances make it quite
suitable to wear any time of the day and for evenings as well.
Some people may consider this as a perfume to be worn only
during the day since the fragrance is subtle.
However, in my opinion, it is quite suitable for evenings as
well. When you spray this cologne on your body, initially you
smell the lavender, clove and bergamot. Lavender is frequently
used in other varieties of colognes because it is a popular
Mediterranean fragrance.
It is used in colognes like Claiborne Bora Bora, Nautica
Latitude and Calvin Klein Eternity. Lavender is widely used in
many types of colognes, in combination with other fragrances
which are distinct by themselves.
Clove is another scent that gives a wonderfully sweet and
spicy smell. Bergamot is used as a fixative to ensure that the
fragrance stays on your body for a long time after the cologne
is sprayed.
The crucial ingredients among the nine that compose Curve
cologne are vetiver, musk and lime. Vetiver is also a fixative
and has an earthy fragrance. Musk and lime provide the perfect
balance any high quality perfume needs.
These fragrances come into their own about ten minutes after
the cologne is sprayed on your body. Cedar, sandalwood and
citrus provide an excellent backdrop for the other fragrances
in Curve cologne.
Sandalwood has been used for ages for sorts of ceremonies.
Historically, the use of sandalwood as a fragrance in
ceremonies dates back to 500 B.C. I am particularly delighted
with the woody scent of the sandalwood.
The way Curve cologne is packaged is both attractive and
sensible. The greenish yellow design of the bottle is very
modern. The orange disc like device placed between the pump and
the bottle is not only very stylish it is there to prevent
spilling when you pack your cologne in the toilet case when you
travel.
This disc must be removed and stored carefully when you are
not traveling. Make sure you keep it in a safe place. The
elegant bottle is transparent and you can see for yourself how
much of the cologne is left in it.
The pump works well, spraying out exactly the amount you
want to spray on your body. The entire bottle is packed in an
elegant tin container which you can use as an attractive
penholder on your desk.
I have used Curve as one of my perfumes for many years now.
It is different from the traditional strong perfumes and gives
you a very pleasant feeling, as if you are bringing the smell
of spring into the room when you enter it.
After you have sprayed yourself with just a few squirts of
Curve cologne, your body heat begins to bring the various
fragrances in the cologne during the day. The fragrances linger
even after a strenuous work out in the gym. If you want a nice
variation in the use of colognes, Curve would be an excellent
choice.
